Well, here goes nothing. My first blog entry. It will of course be dull because I’ve spent hours setting up this space and getting information into it. Also, I’ve been working on my web page at http://www.wiglefamily.net. Check out that site as well for information not found on this site. Perhaps future entries will be more interesting. In the mean time, check out my biblical teachings list and read some of the teachings I’ve prepared.

Whaddya mean dull? This is the most scintillating blog I ever read. Maybe because it is the only one I have read 🙂
I hope you guys had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We did. We were up last night following my better half\’s (Bebbie\’s) ritual of honouring the Baby Jesus according to the New Year\’s custom of her chapel in the Philippines. Special prayers were said and we had a big feast at midnight. Everybody is sleeping today while I\’m here on the web.
I have made a resolution to write more (except cheques). I am starting a journal, and I\’m going to write more e-mail and snail-mail. I have seen stories on TV about obsessive-compulsive writers that write things everywhere… on walls, tables, napkins and even in the shower. Hopefully I won\’t get that bad, but I should do more. My wife gets mad cause I don\’t write things on the grocery list, so mayble I\’ll start there.
Michael, your wife Heather is a role-model for me. I was really impressed that she wrote CFRN-TV here in Edmonton to set up a tour with weatherman Josh Klassen. That really shows the power of the written word and it made the trip more special for you.
K – now I gotta go to see your web site.
Blog ya later alligator,
Love, Dad
PS – I did this entry twice, because the first time it didn\’t seem to go in. So this time I am copying before I enter. If you get it twice, then you can see I have done double-writing duty, so I guess I am really fulfilling my resolution… eh!
Well thanks for writing! I was shocked to actually see a comment. I only put up the link to this site a week or so ago. Well, maybe I\’ll start updating this and my main web site more frequently. There\’s so much I could be writing about the house, fostering, church, community, etc. We\’ll see how it goes. I\’m not much for sitting and writing my thoughts down (although I\’m getting practice with doing the teachings at church). Anyway, thanks for posting a comment. It just might have been the nudge I needed to actually start writing in here! 🙂
