The paint and preach weekend went well and Heather and I put the second coats of paint in the 3rd floor bedrooms Sunday and Monday. Now I need to paint the front bedroom floor and ceiling. Once that’s done we can put the furniture back in both rooms and I can do the smaller stuff on the third floor. I have a light fixture to replace (because it blew) and electrical outlets and switches to cover with face plates. I’ll put a new fire alarm in the center room and then try to find a solution to cover the exposed eletrical wiring that comes out of the floor and runs up the walls a bit. That should pretty much finish the third floor.
Foster parent training is going well although I admit I wish the time could be put to the house instead. Losing an entire Saturday is tough.
