Yay for fire inspections!

We had our fire inspection this morning. It went very quickly and very well. Last night we had the bible study group over at our house so I could get some extra help doing the last touches for passing the inspection. Two smoke detectors were replaced and batteries were checked. Extension cords without circuit breakers were all removed and replaced with either nothing or extension cords with breakers. We drew up the escape route plan and the inspector was quite impressed with it so we were happy. Best of all, he signed off on us having children’s bedrooms on the thrid floor without a fixed escape ladder (which would have been very expensive) so everything went as well as it could. This weekend will be floor painting and fixture replacing.
