We just received a phone call letting us know that we are going to be Foster Parents and the acceptance letter is in the mail! Praise the Lord! It’s been a very long 2 year battle trying to get the house passed and then it took some significant pushing to make sure our paperwork was processed before the deadlines but everything is done and after one final meeting with out case worker we could be getting children within a few weeks. We think we’re ready and we’re grateful that the process is over but of course now we’re trying to figure out how we’re going to watch children during summer break with no school and it being too late to get registered for alot of summer things now as registration for summer camps starts earlier in the year. Oh well, we’ll figure it out. We have a great support network and we’ve been looking forward to this for quite some time.
